Korea Rail Network Authority(KR) was established in January 2004 to be in charge of rail construction & rail facilities management. Korea Rail Network Authority (KR) has successfully constructed Gyeongbu High Speed Rail line as well as metropolitan intercity rail lines and modernized rail facilities including improvement of Jeolla line of Honam line.
