Writer gcef [Date : 2026-05-05 16:25:05 ]    Subject Speaker - IMO & Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries Ms. Angela Joo-Hyun Kang, Founder and Executive President Global Competitiveness Empowerment Forum (GCEF), gave her lecture on women's leadership at the in-person SMART-C (Sustainable Maritime Transport Cooperation) Women Project's training program, co-hosted by International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of the South Korean government on 6 September 2024 at the La Valse Hotel in Pusan, South Korea to the government officials from five countries - East Timor, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Philippines, and Vietnam. SMART-C Women Project is a training program to empower women for a sustainable maritime transport sector, upgrade the skills related to maritime digitalization and marine environmental protection, and nurture global networking for women through international knowledge sharing activity by IMO and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.
